A friend of mine wanted to learn more about makeup

A friend of mine wanted to learn more about makeup. She also wanted to buy bookcases for her 2 billion books.
So here we are, training her to become an artist.
I haven’t left the house in ages (except grocery shopping almost 2 weeks ago) and same with her fam. So we felt it safe to do in person training!!! Kids are THRILLED. No one is touching me. And I’m talking to an adult not my husband obligated to apease me 😂

Soooo many of my artist friends swear by @babe_lash and because I basically have no lashes I’m going to at least try it.

I’ve seen lots of amazing reviews about @paulaschoice products, and this item specifically I saw Cara of @maskcara rave about. I have tried a bajillion things to get rid of the bumps on the backs of my arms, I’m hoping this is the winner.

I’m going to give the a try. I’ll let you know how it works for me. Super excited to maybe possibly have lashes!

@maskcarabeauty issued a challenge for artists. One of the criteria was to take a makeup free selfie and to examine our face.
What story does our face say?
We are to look at our unique features. Appreciate them. Love them.
Then we are to apply makeup. But start back to basics. One layer. Applying product only where it needs to be. No layering (basically the bases of IIID Foundation!)
And finally, say what our fav feature is.

Well, I don’t know what story you see. But the story is see is simply “Survivor” and “Limitless”. As for my favorite feature?
Why can’t it be “all of it”? It took me too damn long to like any of it to begin with. Don’t ask me to choose.

Any other homeschoolers missing co-ops and meetups right now???
Kent: Oh my gosh. Seriously. I really have to do this? But it’s sooo easy. I can literally do it with my eyes closed.
Me: (head tilted to ceiling, eyes closed, pinching bridge of nose) no. Eyes open. And I’m sorry. Maybe I’ll talk to your teach and see if we can skip a few modules.

Kents “birthday” has him in first grade. But he’s doing 2-3rd math. When we signed up for virtual school several months back we didn’t realize how far behind 1st grade math was. We’ve just been doing workbooks, worksheet and some education apps. I’ve never paid attention to “grade level”. Ya know, homeschool.
So, now I need a call with his FLVS teacher. Because he despises his online math right now (we have a 2-3 grade workbooks he also does). I swear man... it’s always something. Just breeze through it. Get done quick. Then you have the rest of the day to play!
Ugh if only he was like this with his language arts. I read 100 books a year and he cries reading one PAGE. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ #flvs #soeasy #smartypants #igiveup #homeschool #ipadpro #applepencil #school #savethetrees #paperless
